Lawn mowing and garden maintenance across south-east Melbourne
Commercial-grade regular rounds for businesses, body corporates and larger properties. Lawns, edges, hedges and garden beds kept presentable on a weekly or fortnightly schedule, with green waste handled.
Regular roundsLawns and gardens kept presentable, round after round
Searching for lawn mowing or a gardener usually means the same thing: the grounds need to look after themselves, reliably, without chasing anyone. That is what Kanga does. One owner-operator runs commercial-grade equipment on a fixed schedule, so lawns, edges, hedges and beds are always presentable rather than rescued just before they embarrass someone.
The rounds are built for sites where presentation matters and someone answers for it: business frontages, common property, factory surrounds, school grounds and larger private gardens across the bayside suburbs and the south-east.
What's included on a regular round
A full grounds pass on every visit, scoped to your site at the walkthrough.

Lawn mowing
Lawns cut evenly on schedule with commercial mowers, ride-on or push as the area demands, at a height matched to the season.
Edges and lines
Paths, kerbs, driveways and bed edges trimmed and blown off, so the whole site reads as cared for, not just cut.
Hedges, beds and pruning
Hedges trimmed to shape, garden beds weeded and kept tidy, and shrubs pruned in the right season rather than whenever it suits.
Green waste removal
Clippings, prunings and bed waste taken away as part of the round and priced into the fixed fee, not added as an extra.
Who we work for
Kanga's rounds are built for sites where the grounds are someone's responsibility.
Facility and operations managers. Frontages, surrounds and staff areas kept professionally presented, with one contact and a paper trail. See commercial grounds maintenance.
Body corporates and strata. Common property mowed, edged and kept tidy for owners corporations and managers, with seasonal condition reports for the committee. See body corporate and strata gardening.
Factories and warehouses. Fencelines, verges and yards across industrial precincts held under control year-round. See factory and industrial grounds.
Schools, kinders and community sites. WWCC-checked grounds care scheduled around your day. See school grounds maintenance.
Larger homes. Acreage and lifestyle blocks, prestige gardens and holiday homes that need more than a domestic mowing run. See acreage and large block mowing and holiday home garden maintenance.
An honest note on standard house blocks: they aren't Kanga's lane. Our rounds, equipment and pricing are built for commercial sites and larger properties. If yours is a standard suburban block, give me a call anyway. I'll tell you straight whether we're the right fit and point you in the right direction if we're not.
Weekly and fortnightly rounds, how it works
Kanga is a recurring service. Every property sits on a standing round. We don't do one-off jobs, and that is what keeps the standard high for the sites on the run.
Free walkthrough
I walk the site with you, look at the lawns, edges, hedges and beds, and scope exactly what a round covers for your property.
Fixed written quote
You get a clear scope and a set fee in writing. No call-out charges and no surprises on the invoice.
Your standing round
The same operator arrives on a weekly or fortnightly schedule through the growing season, stretching out over winter as growth slows. The schedule holds without you chasing it.
Seasonal condition reports
A written record of site condition and anything worth flagging, at the frequency agreed for your site.
How pricing works
Every regular round runs on a fixed fee, quoted after a quick look at the property. The walkthrough takes about 15 minutes, and the quote lands in writing with the scope spelled out, usually the same business day.
The fee reflects the area, the amount of edging and hedging, how the green waste is handled and how often the round runs. Because the price is fixed, a heavy spring week costs you the same as a quiet winter one, and there are no call-out fees between visits. If you want the reasoning behind that model before you call, read our guide to fixed fee versus hourly garden maintenance.
